The sweetest sounds in the tallest heels – BarberFellas celebrate their 12th anniversary

If you’ve never heard expert close harmony singing from men in vertigo-inducing stilettos then you really haven’t lived.

Barberfellas were formed in 2010 from a group of friends who sang in the celebrated gay choir The Pink Singers. Their own style has developed over the years as they embraced male voice close harmony, taking it to a new level of professionalism and clarity.

Their 10th anniversary celebration being postponed by THAT virus, the Barbies (as they are fondly known) are now back, sounding better than ever. How often do you get two years to rehearse a show?

They say “At this concert we’ll be revisiting some of our favourite tunes from the last twelve years as well as debuting several new ones, all sung in a capella, close harmony, Barbie-style!

We’ll be joined by our singing friends the Advantages and the Homonics, and part of the evening’s proceeds will go to our charity partner for 2022: ELOP – LGBT Mental Health and Wellbeing.

Auditorium doors open just after 7pm, but you’re welcome to join us for a drink in the bar from 6.45pm.”
